Giving

At ICL we believe that the Bible calls Christians to give a tithe, or a tenth of our income back to God to support the local church we are a part of, and therefore we do not ask visitors to give money to the church. Giving should be done as worship, with recognition of God’s provision for us, understanding that we live in total dependence on Him for all that we have. Offerings are given above and beyond the tithe and are brought as worship to God to further support His mission through the church.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
